Simone Stallman

Senior Director, Isabella Freedman

Part of the team since 2017, Simone's current role focuses on strengthening staff culture, supporting team development, and stewarding the overall guest and community experience on campus. Her leadership is grounded in fostering connection across teams, programs, and the broader community while guiding the retreat center through its next phase of growth and renewal. When not at the retreat center, you’ll find her enjoying art, live music, or a good road trip with her dog, Magenta.

Sonia has 15+ years of professional experience in the Jewish community. She holds a certificate in Experiential Jewish Education and an MS in Organizational Leadership & Innovation. Sonia loves to be in the woods, her dog, travel photography, and her community.

Farm & Forest School Program Director

Before coming to Pearlstone, Steph spent years traveling, tending the Land & studying various traditions and ways of healing. As an educator, she finds joy in weaving Cultural Wisdom and Nature-based education together in a way that allows her students tap into a greater sense of wonder, confidence, play, and sacred purpose.

Yoni Stadlin

Chief Program Officer

From 2008-2021, Yoni Stadlin served as founding director of Eden Village Camp, the Jewish environmental sleepaway camp. Yoni’s recognitions include the Covenant Foundation’s Pomegranate Prize and Jewish Week’s “36 under 36”, and he holds an MA in Informal Jewish Education from JTS. He has traveled extensively as an environmental educator and activist. Yoni lives in Philadelphia with his wife and two children.
