[August 1, 2025] Tisha B’Av, beginning at sundown tomorrow night, is the saddest day on the Jewish calendar. The Temples in Jerusalem were destroyed on this day, ending Jewish sovereignty in the holy land 2,000 years ago and many moments of trauma and tragedy across the ensuing centuries of Jewish history haunt us on this day as well.
