Baltimore Environmental Sustainability Network

We believe Jewish values can guide us toward a greener future.

The Baltimore Environmental Sustainability Network (BESN) puts those values into action.

By bringing together individuals, synagogues and organizations, BESN addresses urgent environmental challenges through a Jewish lens. Through educational programs, advocacy events and hands-on volunteer opportunities, BESN helps translate Jewish teachings into meaningful environmental action.

BESN organizes educational workshops, community conversations, advocacy events and hands-on projects. Whether you’re just starting to explore environmental issues or already leading sustainability efforts, BESN offers ways for everyone to participate and make an impact, BESN offers opportunities to learn, connect and make an impact.

The Baltimore Environmental Sustainability Network is an initiative of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore, in partnership with Adamah.
