Yossi Abramowitz is the founder and CEO of Energiya Global Capital and a pioneering solar energy entrepreneur, impact investor, and climate activist. Yossi co-founded the Arava Power Company, Israel’s first commercial solar developer and currently develops renewable energy projects across Africa and the Middle East. Recognized by CNN as a “Green Pioneer” and nominated for the Nobel Peace Prize by African nations, Yossi has led nearly $1 billion in solar projects worldwide. He is passionate about climate justice, renewable energy, and advancing affordable green power as a human right.

Rafi Addlestone is a climate entrepreneur focused on the power of partnerships to accelerate the transition to a sustainable future. After a career in the UK civil service, then as Global Lead for Tech Sustainability at Deloitte and leading sustainability innovation for Amazon Web Services, Rafi helps to run Pineapple Partnerships, a think-do consultancy focused on forming commercial partnership to unlock system transformation. Outside of work, Rafi co-hosts The Impact Equation podcast, is Vice Chair of Golders Green Synagogue, a trustee of JW3, the JCC for London and a founding trustee of EcoJudaism, the UK Jewish community’s answer to the climate and nature crisis. In this role, Rafi has worked with Global Jewry to develop a global network of Jewish organizations like EcoJudaism and Adamah and founded the Jewish Climate Professionals Network, the UK forerunner to JGBN. He has a wife, three daughters, a wavering commitment to Leeds United, and a love for a proper cup of tea.

Rachel Malka Barr is a climate change and circular economist with over 15 years of experience. She is the CEO of Climate Tech Propel, which provides bespoke PR, marketing, social media, and fundraising support to climate tech companies and sustainability NGOs. Rachel previously served as Vice President of Sustainability at UBQ Materials and is an active advisor and investor across the climate tech ecosystem.
Rachel holds a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University, a Master of Environmental Science from Yale University, and a Master of Public Affairs from Princeton University’s School of Public and International Affairs, where she also pursued doctoral studies in Science, Technology, and Environmental Policy. Rachel and her partner Jorge share a love of Central Park, tacos, and comedy shows (although not always in that order).

Karl Burkart has been at the forefront of research exploring connections between human systems, the natural world, and climate change. As CEO of the Nature Data Lab at One Earth Philanthropy, and formerly the Director of Science & Technology at the Leonardo DiCaprio Foundation, Karl brings together teams of scientists across multiple disciplines, applying innovations in big data, earth observation, and artificial intelligence to support the transition towards a sustainable, resilient future for all.

Shannon Edelstone lives in Berkeley, California. A former tax attorney, Shannon has been a small business consultant for 13 years serving a wide array of clients, including a company that installs rainwater barrel and greywater systems. She is currently working with a start-up specializing in portable solar panels. Shannon completed the Climatebase Fellowship in the spring. She is looking forward to making a difference on the Advisory Council for the Jewish Green Business Network.

Iva Kaufman is a strategic advisor and long-time advocate specializing in social impact, philanthropy, and cross-sector collaboration for sustainable business. She is principal of Iva Kaufman Associates where she advises foundations, family offices, and mission-driven ventures on impact strategies aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals and impact writ large. Iva is widely recognized for building bridges across sectors and communities to advance environmental and social change.

Uriel Klar is the Founder & Partner at Epsilon, a venture studio that brings together world-class talent from Israel to build transformative climate-tech startups. Uriel previously founded and led PLANETech, where he spearheaded the growth of Israel’s climate tech ecosystem by supporting startups, investors, and corporates working at the intersection of technology and climate. Trained as an environmental engineer at the Technion, he is widely recognized as a thought leader on climate innovation. Uriel is passionate about building collaborations that accelerate solutions to the climate crisis and position Israel as a global hub for climate tech.

Eran Sandhaus is a seasoned technologist, turned impact investor, and strategic advisor. Formerly a leader in autonomous driving and tech at Delphi and other Fortune 500 firms, Eran is now the co-founder and managing partner at J-Impact Fund, an impact VC based in Palo Alto under the J-Ventures Group. Eran oversees investments in early-stage companies that deliver both financial returns and measurable social or environmental impact, aligned with the impact.
