Congratulations Rabbi Fred Scherlinder Dobb on winning Steward of G!d’s Creation Award for courage, commitment, and care of our Earth!
“This morning Rabbi Fred will be honored with the Steward of G!d’s Creation Award from the National Religious Coalition on Creation Care! Yasher koach to Fred, the second rabbi to ever receive the award, based on the NRCCC’s website. And what a powerfully appropriate award title to describe you and your work!”

The Steward of G!d’s Creation Award is bestowed to those individuals who exhibit courage and commitment in the caring and keeping of the earth in a heroic, distinguished and effective manner. Awardees are determined by a vote of religious leaders and bestowed at a public event, normally the National Prayer Breakfast for Creation Care, which is sponsored annually by a coalition of religious organizations and affiliates.
NRCCC is an interfaith non-profit organization conserving our Earth.
Previous awards went to the likes of Julia “Butterfly” Hill, Wendell Berry, Drs Katherine Heyhoe and James Hansen, Bill McKibben, EPA Administrator Lisa Jackson, Rabbi Warren Stone, Revs. Gerald Durley and Margaret Bullitt-Jonas, and many esteemed others.
