Hear directly from students who have participated in the Arava Institute, Adamah on Campus, and Campus Commons — and discover how each program, in its own way, is doing the same thing: turning values into action and building bridges within communities.
What we’ll explore together:
- Sustainability rooted in Jewish tradition — How Adamah on Campus connects campus life to the land through hands-on Jewish environmental education and action.
- Coexistence on the ground — How environmental work at the Arava Institute brings together Israeli, Palestinian, Jordanian, and international students to solve shared ecological challenges, and why that matters now more than ever.
- Building community across difference — How Campus Commons cultivates Jewish leadership and the kind of pluralistic dialogue that might just be the most important environmental skill of all.
- The overlap you might not expect — Students who’ve experienced multiple programs share what surprised them, and what connected the dots between environmental action, Jewish practice, and bridge building.
This is for you if you care about the environment and want to connect that work to Jewish identity; if you’re exploring fellowships and other leadership development opportunities for the school year; or if you believe that healing the world and building relationships across difference are inseparable.
