Adamah on Campus in collaboration with Hillel International and Repair the World is excited to host our first Alternative Spring Break from March 13-17, 2024.
There will be two components: First, we will spend two days in Baltimore and Washington DC, meeting with activists and organizers in the Climate Movement, volunteering with Repair the World, and engaging with policy and advocacy with the Religious Action Center (RAC).
Then, this will be followed by a Shabbaton (Friday-Sunday) filled with climate education, Jewish and spiritual learning, and fun nature and outdoor activities. This week will equip students with skills, resources, and community to engage Jewishly in climate activism on campus.
Adamah on Campus is committed to creating inclusive and accessible experiences. Thanks to generous funders, we will be offering the retreat at a sliding scale fee ranging from the minimum program cost of $360, to the full cost per student at $632. Stipends and additional needs-based funding will be available, reach out to adamahoncampus@adamah.org to discuss options. Additionally, if any campus send 3 or more students, we can provide an 18% discount per student to register.
