Retreat, Farm, Learn and Celebrate at Family Farm Camp!

Family Farm Camp brings together families for an immersive experience of learning, playing, celebrating and community building.

“Each year we look forward to your family farm camp. To see our children grow from year to year is truly a blessing. We also get to see their ability to integrate environmental knowledge and Jewish knowledge into harmony in one complete package. Some of our very closest friendships have been solidified through family camp.”

Retreat Details

Earth-based Jewish Wisdom is woven into campfire songs and storytelling, wild edible walks and brachot (blessings), high adventure ropes course & team building games, night hikes, and of course a vibrant and joyous Shabbat celebration!

Program Highlights

Retreat

Relax in our natural setting and comfortable accommodations. Step away from your daily routine to enjoy quality time with your family in nature. Delicious, healthy farm-to-table food will be served throughout Family Camp, and our warm and dedicated staff will make sure that you are taken care of.

Farm

Get your hands dirty on our 5-acre, organic farm. Activities include harvesting fresh produce and preparing snacks and meals from our farm, collecting eggs from the chicken coop, milking and feeding our goats, and tasting the summer’s abundance. Our farm is a great way to connect to the land, the food we eat, and each other!

Learn

Parallel learning sessions for parents and children will ensure that everyone is learning at family camp from pickling and cheese-making to gardening to Jewish and environmental topics. Everyone involved will learn with their hands and bodies on the farm, animal pasture, and nature trails. Traditional camp activities, such as swimming, sports, music, and arts & crafts will be enjoyed by all.

Celebrate

We’ll celebrate Shabbat in a family-friendly environment, building community with other young, Jewish families. Walk the nature trails, toast marshmallows and stargaze by the campfire, and celebrate the season at Pearlstone!
