Elders Virtual Conversation Circle (Ages 64+)

A 5-month online journey for Jewish adults ages 64+
Explore the transition from growing older to becoming an elder through meaningful small group conversation, personal reflection, chevruta partnership, and the shared wisdom of a supportive community.

Event Details
Unlike programs that focus on teaching or expert presentations, our Elders Virtual Conversation Circle is built around the wisdom, experiences, questions, and insights of the participants themselves. Over five months, a small group of Jewish adults ages 64+ will “circle up” together online in a warm, supportive, and respectful environment to explore the opportunities and challenges of later life. Through guided conversations, personal reflection, monthly chevruta (partner) dialogue, and deep listening, participants will have the opportunity to examine what gives meaning and purpose to this stage of life, learn from one another’s journeys, and cultivate the qualities of elderhood within a caring community.
Together we will explore questions such as:
- How do our beliefs about aging shape our experience?
- What gives our lives meaning in the elder years?
- What wisdom and values do we want to pass on?
- How do we navigate loss and grief?
- What helps us cultivate resilience?
Through the lens of Jewish wisdom and lived experience, we will support one another in embracing elderhood as a sacred stage of life.
