The Dupree and Adamah ATL Present: Roots of Responsibility
This will be four-part experiential learning series designed to joyfully reconnect Jewish participants with the rhythms of the seasons and our relationship to the land, while deepening a sense of individual and collective responsibility rooted in Jewish tradition.
Event Details
Through hands-on activities, text-based learning, and meaningful conversation, participants will explore Jewish teachings and seasonal traditions that illuminate our connection to the natural world and the responsibilities that emerge from that relationship.
Each session will take place from 7:30–9:00 p.m. at The Dupree, with light snacks provided. Every gathering will include a hands-on, plant-based activity designed to bring the evening’s themes to life and foster a deeper connection to the land.

About Rabbi Ayal Robkin
Rabbi Ayal Robkin is the Director of Hadar Atlanta. A native Atlantan and graduate of Atlanta Jewish Academy and The Weber School, Ayal taught Talmud, Bible, Jewish Thought, and mindfulness meditation at the Abraham Joshua Heschel High School in New York, NY for ten years before returning to Atlanta. Ayal is a graduate of the Pardes Educators Program and holds rabbinic ordination from Yashrut. He lives in Atlanta with his wife, Maddy Bloch, and children Neima and Menashe.

About Amy Price
Amy Price recently moved to Stone Mountain, GA, with her husband, son, and growing numbers of chickens and beehives to steward four acres. Amy has been working with Adamah ATL as the lead educator supporting environmental programming and Jewish learning. She spent time at Isabella Friedman working for The Teva Learning Center doing outdoor Jewish environmental education and farming at a youth village in Rwanda. Amy loves all things outdoors and has been fully engaged in turning her home into a homestead and garden oasis.
