Adamah LA is the flagship Southern California hub of Adamah, North America’s largest Jewish environmental organization, serving Los Angeles, Orange, Ventura, and San Diego Counties. We bring Jews of all ages together to strengthen belonging, learning, and leadership — rooted in the deep, ancient connection between the Jewish people and the earth.

For teens, college students, professionals, and families, Adamah LA is a place to find your people and live your values on the ground, together. Join us at an upcoming community event or join the movement through the following opportunities:
- The Jewish Youth Climate Movement empowers a new generation of proud Jewish leaders at a moment when many young Jews are searching for community that holds both their identity and their convictions.
- Adamah on Campus supports and connects college students with community, education and service, with 10 active campuses in California.
- The Jewish Green Business Network connects 800+ Jewish professionals, entrepreneurs, and funders who are committed to sustainability.
- Our LA Sustainability Fund offers matching grants up to $20,000 to help schools, synagogues, and Jewish institutions across the region grow more resilient and vibrant.

Adamah Youth Movement
The Adamah Youth Movement develops Jewish teens into leaders for our people and our planet. Together, we draw on Jewish wisdom, build joyful community, and take action to create a more just, resilient, and sustainable future.
The Adamah Youth Movement functions both nationally and locally. Adamah offers teen programming through our growing network of Community Impact Hubs, allowing each community to respond to its own needs while participating in a larger movement united by shared values and common purpose.
Adamah Youth Movement Regional Boards serve as local leadership cohorts where teens learn together, design programs, and strengthen Jewish environmental life in their communities. We currently have Regional Boards in New York and Boston. We anticipate launching a Los Angeles Regional Board in 2027; nominate a teen leader for this opportunity here.
Adamah Youth Movement monthly Community Calls connect participants across regions through shared learning, collective action, and relationship building. The national Adamah Youth Movement Leadership Board brings together teens from across the country to share movement-wide initiatives while developing advanced leadership skills.
Together, these interconnected experiences allow every participant to experience both belonging within the local community and the inspiration of belonging to a national movement.
