Sundays on the Farm at Pearlstone

Celebrate on our land throughout the year

Sundays on the Farm at Pearlstone brings together unique nature connected activities, Jewish ritual crafts & cooking, and seasonal programming on the farm and in the forest. In 2026, we will also offer optional skill-building workshops as part of Sundays on the Farm that will help participants increase their self-reliance, survival skills, and sustainable practices.

The full cost for this program is $12 per person if registering in advance. We invite you to pay more or less, depending on your capacity and needs.

2026 Events:

October 18: Harvest Music Festival at Pearlstone (1:00-7:00 p.m.)

Come celebrate, dance, and sing with performers on the Myerberg Stage and the Greenwald Amphitheater! Enjoy the vibes at Harvest Music Festivals with activities including eco-crafts, farm to table food, and deep learning about the harvest, food preservation, and preparing the land for its winter sleep. This event is supported by the Meyerhoff New Jewish Family Innovation Fund, an endowment fund of The Associated: Jewish Federation of Baltimore

December 6: Pearlstone Chanukah Celebration (1:00-4:00 p.m.)

Build a dreidel and a chanukiah out of repurposed waste and natural materials found on the Pearlstone campus and enter our first annual homemade dreidel competition! Enjoy latkes over the fire and participate in an important mitzvah to ensure our community stays warm and safe this winter.

For an extra fee, explore food preservation as we learn to preserve summer’s abundance and prepare for winter by learning about food preservation. Participants will practice techniques that will increase self-reliance and can decrease our carbon footprint by increasing reliance on locally grown produce.

April 26: Pearlstone Sheep and Wool Festival (1:00-4:00 p.m.)

Join us as we shear the Pearlstone sheep and experience the process of taking wool from shearing through cleaning, carding, spinning, dyeing, and knitting! Learn more about how we live close to the land and in partnership with the animals.

May 24: Pearlstone Strawberry Festival and Concert (10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m.)

It’s the unofficial start of summer and the official start of strawberry season! Come out for UPick strawberries, cooking activities, food trucks, and a family-friendly concert! You’ll have a chance to pick strawberries and make jam while learning about food preservation from Pearlstone’s farmers and program educators. July 26: Pearlstone Blueberry Festival (10:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m.)

Blueberry Hill is the place to be for summer fun, food, and festivities! UPick will be open and we’ll have eco-crafts, nature exploration, and more. Bring a picnic and enjoy the land with us.

For an extra fee, learn about Blueberry Care and Maintenance as Pearlstone’s Expert Farm Team will teach participants to care for Blueberries and similar plants. Register today and you will get a blueberry cutting to take home after the workshop!

August 23: Pearlstone Flower Festival (10:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.)

Celebrate the colors of summer with our Flower Festival. Pick your own bouquet in our UPick Flower Fields, explore native flowers with Pearlstone’s educators, and enjoy crafts, sports, and more!

For an extra fee, learn about bouquet Making and Floral Arrangements. Local experts will teach the art and science of making beautiful floral arrangements and keeping them healthy and flourishing!
