Family members of mine were part of the out-of-state programs. The beautifully curated enrichment was the focus of my yearning to be involved. Later, some of the same leaders found their way to Detroit.
We have been lucky to be part of the family programming — summer camp through our local JCC and Tamarack overnight camp — and we keep up to date with the emails. I have been involved in some of the climate action meetings in the past and look forward to more involvement in the future.
I look toward a warm community in the future with Adamah by staying involved, volunteering, and getting my teen into a Jewish Youth Climate Movement cohort soon!
