After attending local Network Gatherings and Summits in Detroit, I realized the important educational role Adamah plays in our community. I feel grateful to have been introduced to Adamah Detroit and am so proud of all we’ve accomplished.

I am especially proud and excited about the Native Plant Garden we’ve created at Adat Shalom — a true labor of love and community.

I hope this experience helps me continue to educate myself, my family, and others about the importance of maintaining sustainability in our homes, our synagogues, our businesses, and our planet. I believe that one person at a time can grow from making a small difference to a big difference — in our own lives and in the lives of others.
