We chose to go to Pearlstone for Passover as a family a few months after my husband passed away. We were looking for a place where we could all be together and restore our souls and spirits amidst nature after a year of spending a lot of time in a hospital and dealing with my husband’s illness and the sadness after his death.
Our time at Pearlstone more than fulfilled our expectations – so much so that we plan to return this year. It’s been said you can please some of the people some of the time, but you can’t please all of the people all of the time. Well, we were 17 people and ALL of the people were pleased! So much so, that one of my grandchildren cried when it was time to go home.
We loved that it was a serene, low key setting and its emphasis on nature.
We have talked it up to our friends and plan to return again this year for Passover. We all created some wonderful memories as a family there.
