Stunning vistas and serene nature in the southern Berkshires
A kosher, pluralistic retreat center serving 6,000 guests of all ages and backgrounds each year.
Situated on 400 acres in the Connecticut Berkshires, we produce retreats year-round focused on Jewish holidays, farm-to-table food, music, meditation, yoga, and more. We warmly welcome dozens of synagogues and professional groups each year, as well as weddings, b’nai mitzvot, and other private events.
Isabella Freedman is located at 116 Johnson Road, Falls Village, CT 06031.
We are about 2 hours from New York City, 3 hours from Boston, and 1 hour from Hartford.
What a wonderful Shabbat we spent at Isabella Freedman! A combination of Judaism, organic food grown on the property, fresh well water, sauerkraut made on the property, a mikvah that is in the pond, yoga in a round yurt overlooking the pond, davening in a shul overlooking the pond and a great talk with people who are integrating their creativity with their holy Torah.Kim Kinneret Dubowitz

Enjoy the bounty of the Adamah Farm
Whether taking a farm tour, visiting the goats, or enjoying the harvest during meals, all programs at Isabella Freedman make use of our 10-acre organic farm.
During your stay with us, it is our hope that you will find ways to reconnect with yourself and others, unplug from the outside world and enjoy some rare quality time, and perhaps discover your own personal potential for growth. We hope that you will take time to enjoy the beauty of our natural surroundings, take a tour of the farm, walk around the lake or on our trails. We hope that you will feel nourished by the meals that we prepare for you with conscientiously grown and sourced ingredients.
