WTA Middle School Goes to Teva

Westchester Torah Academy’s fifth and sixth grade students recently enjoyed an incredible outdoor education trip to Teva at Isabella Freedman Retreat Center. Throughout the experience, students had the opportunity to connect with nature, build friendships and learn valuable lessons about environmental responsibility and teamwork.

During the trip, students participated in a variety of hands-on activities including hiking, team-building challenges, outdoor adventures and educational workshops focused on sustainability, and preserving the earth.

At night, students participated in amazing night chuggim such as eco-spa, a beautiful sunset hike, survival skills and fire building. One of the highlights of the trip was a bonfire complete with singing and s’mores, bringing students and teachers together for a fun and meaningful evening.

The trip was filled with laughter, learning and unforgettable memories, and students returned home with a deeper appreciation for nature, community and the world around them.
