Step away from the rhythm of everyday life, as we intentionally create, “an island in time.”
Together, through the study of ancient Jewish wisdom and the practices of yoga and other guided activities, we will reveal and illuminate the Torah within our body, mind, heart and soul.
Come to Isabella Freedman for a day of fun activities including pickling, outdoor skill building and a farm tour. All are welcome! Light Refreshments will be provided.
Come paddle on the Huron River in the Proud Lake Recreation Area, with Heavner Canoes. We look forward to a fun-filled day where we will enjoy the scenery and sounds of nature on the water. Accompanying our paddle will be an exploration of Jewish and environmental themes.

Learn why eco-systems collapse when indigenous peoples are removed from their land and how native people gathered from the land in such a way that animals, food and biodiversity were greatly increased in their ecosystems. Class will include some caretaking the land projects. This class is my personal favorite, and this knowledge is much needed in the world today.

Peoplehood & Planethood: Mobilizing a Global Jewish Response to the Climate Crisis with Professor Alon Tal and Adamah NY Wednesday, September 25, Noon at The Jewish Museum NYC
September 26 @ 6:00– 8:00 PM: Hear from leaders across industries who are shaping New York City's climate resiliency strategy and learn about how Adamah NY is mobilizing our local Jewish community around climate action.
Did you know the average person with no survival training in the United States has a high chance of dying if lost for one night alone in the woods at 52 degrees or below. Learn and make a survival shelter, gather water and make a fire. Come learn the basics of survival and have lots of fun while learning to keep you and your family safe. This class is one of the most important classes in this series and it is a lot of fun and will change your perception of the forest forever.

Established by Repair the Sea, Reverse Tashlich is an innovative environmental Jewish ritual. Last year 4000 Jews and allies in 23 countries collaborated to honor tradition and address a modern crisis, by cleaning up waterfront locations and combating plastic pollution as we enter the High Holidays. Adamah ATL continues this tradition and will be offering multiple locations!

Sukkahfest is perhaps the most joyous and diverse celebration of the holiday of Sukkot you will find. It takes the full spectrum of the community to manifest the joy of Sukkahfest at Isabella Freedman. Everyone is welcome – all ages, all streams, all colors, all identities.
This annual immersive retreat is filled with inspiring Jewish learning, spirited singing, festive farm-to-table meals, and a pluralistic community building experience.
Dine with friends and learn about Sukkot's connection to sustainability and earth-based Judaism in a community Sukkah. There is no cost to attend! This event is geared towards 20's and 30's. This dinner is being hosted as part of a partnership between OneTable, Adamah ATL, Ma’alot, and Repair.

The location is Central Synagogue at their community house, 123 E 55th Street, New York, NY 10010, and we will also be spending some time in Central Park.

This class is all about crafts, mainly using grass. Make mats, clothing, Digeri doo’s, water bottles, spoons, rice cookers etc. This is a fun crafting hang out class learning some pretty interesting skills.
