Come paddle on the Huron River in the Proud Lake Recreation Area, with Heavner Canoes. We look forward to a fun-filled day where we will enjoy the scenery and sounds of nature on the water!
Join our fleet and launch into the Huron River for evening of paddling and picking up! We’ll start the evening with a park-friendly dinner while our friends at Adamah share some insight into the importance of environmental preservation. Then we’ll grab our canoes and get to cleaning. An Adamah Detroit staff member will take us on an hour-long guided paddle where we’ll use our go-go-gadget grabbers to clean up any trash we find along the way. Get ready for a perfect late summer evening on the river while you make a positive impact on our local water ways and wildlife. Dress to canoe with the possibility that you might get a little wet.
