Jewish Advocacy: Courage in Action (Part of the MESI Webinar Series

Jews are taking action personally and as communities to heal the earth. We also need new laws and policies to achieve our goals. Come together with intergenerational climate activists from Jewish Earth Alliance, Adamah’s Jewish Youth Climate Movement, and Dr. Adriane Leveen of Hebrew Union College to learn how you and your congregation can get involved in climate justice. JYCM will be represented by Alexandra Stillman, who is JYCM’s Policy Co-Director. She is an 11th grade student from New York City.

This event is taking place as part of the Masorti Environmental Sustainability Initiative (MESI) of the Conservative Movement’s Weeks of Learning and Doing webinar series, taking place throughout the Omer (between Pesach and Shavuot). The webinar content is inspired by the concepts of Head (learning), Heart (spirituality), and Hand (action/advocacy). The series offers topics about the environment, Judaism and spirituality, food, greening your synagogue, and climate change that educate, inspire, and motivate. This series is free and open to all.
