Join us for a joyous birthday celebration for our beloved country!
On this special day, we come together as a people who have found their land and their home. We will rejoice in the heroes of our nation, both past and present, and remember the goodness and life that we have been blessed with. From 3:30 pm until the evening, you and your family will have the opportunity to participate in a wide array of exciting activities. Get your hands dirty as you learn to bake fresh pita bread in a traditional saj, and discover the secrets to making perfectly creamy hummus. Test your knowledge of Israel with our engaging trivia quiz and be moved by a poignant torch-lighting ceremony that honors the bravery of our fighters and the courage of our civil defense. As the sun sets, we’ll gather around a cozy bonfire to sing beloved Israeli songs, and then let loose at a joyful dance party that will keep you on your feet until the stars come out. Don’t forget to check the weather forecast and dress accordingly – comfortable clothing and water are a must! We can’t wait to share this special day with you and your loved ones.
Participation fee: $18 per family
Optional overnight stay in a cabin for an additional fee. Sleeping in a tent is a welcome option.
